Wild Weekend in Texas
Wild is an understatement. Kyle Busch started off the weekend by picking up the win in his Kyle Busch Motorsports truck extending his Owners Championship Points lead with only two races to go. If you look carefully at the side of Kyle’s truck, you can see a small SCHROTH logo!
On Saturday Brad Keselowski finished third in his Direct Tire Nationwide Car but that was all he needed to clinch the title, giving Roger Penske his first championship in Nascar. Way to go Brad nice work!
Then came Sunday – Denny Hamlin picked up the win and took over the Sprint Cup Points lead from Jimmie Johnson who in mid race switched pit crews with team mate Jeff Gordon after Jeff crashed out under caution coming together with Jeff Burton. It’s a real fight to the finish and no one is holding anything back! Good luck to all our Schroth Racing drivers with the strong season finish. SCHROTH belts were in 11 of the 12 Chase cars.
In the IRL world Dario Franchitti defended his IZOD Indy Car title a few weeks ago. Dario uses the Schroth Hybrid III with the double shoulder belt. We would like to say congratulations to Dario on another great season.
