Jay Flower hails from outside Syracuse, NY and now lives in Arlington, MA. He enjoys tinkering with E30 BMW’s and adjusting parking brakes. When he’s not sitting at a computer keyboard, you can find Jay making music with his computer. He’s performed with the LA Philharmonic, at Tanglewood, Carnegie Hall, The Santa Fe Opera, LA’s Disney Hall as well as numerous Boston & NYC clubs and bars as a Minimal Techno producer. He is an avid cycling fan and enjoys skateboarding and surfing.
Jay's E30 has been through a major transformation. It began as a decent 325iS with a bad paint job. It was clear that the Schwarz paint had been sprayed quickly without much prep work or attention to detail. He was prepared to deal with it, until a mishap with a motor mount sent his motor through the radiator.
It became apparent that this would not be just a quick repair. The drive to transform the car into the meanest street E30 in New England consumed him. It is a work in progress with bits and pieces being bolted back on every day. Soon, it will be finished and that will be a glorious day.
