Our Search engine is customized to get the best out of our website's database. It doesn't do anything really fancy like Google or Yahoo, but we think it can help you find what you may be looking for.
There are Three Different types of matching going on. Exact Matching, Guessing, and Category Matching.
Exact Matching is just that, the search engine found the exact word or phrase you typed in an item name. This is the fastest way to get to an item, but also the trickiest. Typing in Brakepads will keep you from seeing Brake Pads and vice versa. To get the most out of this kind of match, short phrases are best.
Guessing is where our search engine splits your phrase into words and finds each word in the item name and/or description. It returns the number of matches at the score for the item and displays it in a list according to that score.
Category Matches happen when the word(s) you've typed show up as a keyword for a category. This is a good way to get to something close to what you're looking for.
