Performance Friction's street compound, this brake pad has great braking power. It bites much better than stock and works well if you're planning on swapping out pads and switching to Performance Friction Race Pads when you go to the track.
For many people this pad is a great choice because of it's compromises. First and foremost, you need a pad to stop your car well. The Z pads will significantly increase your braking power over the stock pads, as well as give you about 50% more life out of both your pads and your rotors. This brings your overall braking system cost down as well as the obvious safety benefits.
Second to braking performance, we find that most people are unhappy with the absurd amount of dust that stock pads are generating these days. The worst thing about the dust is that if you don't clean it, after time it will bond to the wheel and actually damage the wheel! The Z pads, while maintaining high braking performance and longevity, dust significantly less than your stock pads do.
All of these reasons add up to a great all-around street pad that will even stand up to a little track time. But if you're spending lots of time on the track, you'll want to look into Performance Friction's Race Ready pads for the ultimate in Braking performance.

EBC's semi-metallic Redstuff formulation is a high performance street pad with medium lifetime and a friction level of about 0.3µ steadily rising to 0.33µ at 750ºC. Redstuff is very kind to brake discs and can be used on highway vehicles for high performance and extreme duty use. Redstuff gives longer pad life under extreme road conditions features and benefits:
EBC Markets the RedStuff pad as a race compound. We do not agree with this, as the pads don't seem to hold up under track abuse. We have found that the pads will perform quite well on the track, exhibiting very little fade and great bite characteristics, however they do not have a very good longevity on the track. It is not uncommon to go through an entire set of pads in one Drivers' School. We do not recommend using these pads if you are doing a lot of track events. Look into the Performance Friction pads for Track Pad options.

This pad features a high Kevlar content formulation resulting in an ultra high performance road pad which is extremely kind to discs. With a friction co-efficient of around 0.46µ and high resistance to brake fade (550º C) this pad is a superb upgrade for high performance street cars, high speed freeway use and consecutive heavy braking.
Greenstuff has won many awards from UK magazines, and was rated #1 fast road car brakes by UK's largest circulation motorsport magazine, Max Power, in 1999.
