This pad features a high Kevlar content formulation resulting in an ultra high performance road pad which is extremely kind to discs. With a friction co-efficient of around 0.46µ and high resistance to brake fade (550º C) this pad is a superb upgrade for high performance street cars, high speed freeway use and consecutive heavy braking.
Greenstuff has won many awards from UK magazines, and was rated #1 fast road car brakes by UK's largest circulation motorsport magazine, Max Power, in 1999.

EBC's semi-metallic Redstuff formulation is a high performance street pad with medium lifetime and a friction level of about 0.3µ steadily rising to 0.33µ at 750ºC. Redstuff is very kind to brake discs and can be used on highway vehicles for high performance and extreme duty use. Redstuff gives longer pad life under extreme road conditions features and benefits:
EBC Markets the RedStuff pad as a race compound. We do not agree with this, as the pads don't seem to hold up under track abuse. We have found that the pads will perform quite well on the track, exhibiting very little fade and great bite characteristics, however they do not have a very good longevity on the track. It is not uncommon to go through an entire set of pads in one Drivers' School. We do not recommend using these pads if you are doing a lot of track events. Look into the Performance Friction pads for Track Pad options.
There was a change in rear pads for the Z3. in 1999, they started using the E46 rear calipers, so if you have a Z3 made from 1999-2001 you'll want to buy the eb dp31289 pad for your rear setup. The change was very slight, however EBC decided to make the slight change in the pad shape so that there would be a perfect fit.
