BMW owners in Europe tow all sorts of trailers with their 3, 5 and 7 Series BMWs. Here in the US however its nearly impossible to find a trailer hitch for a BMW. Most BMW dealers do not even have a product to offer. Look no further we have a hitch to fit most BMW models including the Z3 and 318ti.
Most of our hitches are rated for 1,500 to 2,000 pounds. Certainly enough for that small sailboat, JetSki or for one Trailex™ Hitch Mount Bike Racks.
All hitch shipments may take up to 48 hours to ship. Make sure to keep this in mind if the shipment is time-sensitive.
Shipping note: All Hitches are shipped from the warehouse here in Massachusetts. When you order the hitch, we place the order and they ship it out after that. What does this mean? If you order expedited shipping, it will be shipped via the method that you've chosen, however the date of shipping may be one or even two days past when you order. So if you order your hitch in the afternoon on Monday, we will process the order on Tuesday, order the hitch, and it will possibly ship Tuesday, but more probably on Wednesday or Thursday. Please keep this in mind when ordering a hitch. It will make us all a lot happier.
Note: If you're having trouble reading our stellar chart below, please check out the application guide we have listed at the bottom of the page. It is perhaps a bit easier to use to figure out exactly which hitch you need.
Disclaimer #2: Towing is always a "common sense" situation. If you don't think you should be able to tow your 3 car trailer with your 330i, then chances are you shouldn't. The Capacities listed are only guidelines for the hitch. We suggest reading up on towing and talking to other friends that have towed. For starters, check out Curt's Website as they have some great info about towing guidelines there.
