The Jet/F is one of the first Open Faced Helmets we have ever sold here at HMS. We still strongly feel that a closed face helmet is the safest way to sit behind the steering wheel, especially considering how much body movement there is in even the smallest of impacts.

However, the serious Auto-crossers and rally co-pilots have been screaming for an open-faced helmet that meets the exacting standards of safety. When you absolutely need an open-faced helmet, this is the one for you.

Arai’s shell technology yields a very lightweight helmet that wears its weight with a low center of gravity. This helps make the helmet seem even lighter than it is. The cheek pads are removable for frequent cleanings.
