The E46 M3 is a terrific car. But one area that can easily be improved upon is the exhaust system. The full Supersprint exhaust system has shown fantastic gains. When dealing with a car as technologically advanced as the E46 M3, changing things can often have negative effects. While installing these headers may throw a fault code with the stringent OBD-II engine management, not one customer has been able to justify pulling the headers off their car and re-installing the stock ones. The gains are just too dramatic. This is the second generation supersprint header and has provisions for O2 sensors.
Put together these headers with the Supersprint Center Resonator, and the Muffler and you have yourself a very fast E46 M3 that sounds equally as mean.

The Alternate pipe fits between the Headers and the Center Resonator in the E46 M3 system. It provides no Catalytic function and is basically just a straight pipe. It is 100% Stainless Steel.
Use this on Race Cars only. If you drive your car on the street, you'll need to retain some catalytic function.
For street cars, Supersprint's Metallic Catalytic Converters are the best you can get. They're 100% Stainless steel and are the ultimate for applications where you want maximum horsepower while retaining catalytic function. The Cats in this system offer no horsepower loss.
