One of the big problems with tracking a Z3 is the lack of a roof. Once you've tackled that problem with our Sportbar or Stylebar, the next thing you need to worry about is a harness system. The HMS Harnessbar bolts directly to the HMS Rollbars giving you a safe mounting point for aftermarket safety harnesses.

The bar has tabs welded to it through which the harnesses pass. These keep the harnesses from wandering and keep the cockpit clean. On most racecars, people usually use zipties or modified rollbar padding to keep the harnesses in one place. We wanted these tabs built in not only to ensure that the harnesses stay safely where they're put, but to keep the final look clean. We wanted people to be able to run this setup on the street and not think that it looks hacked together.

The HMS Rollbar/Harnessbar package is really the only system like it on the market. The only other option you have is to fabricate a full cage which will cost you more money and give you headaches. Profit from our efforts and choose the easy way out with our setup.

A special note on harnessbar stock levels: We have these items made in a small welding shop that makes extremely high quality tube-framed drag and road-race cars, as well as one-off custom motorcycles. We order them in small batches and try our hardest to make each batch of bars overlap in inventory. Sometimes this does not happen, and depending on the welder's schedule, sometimes the wait for another batch of bars can be between 6-8 weeks - sometimes longer.
