First Annual HMS Oktoberfeast!
Time to party! THIS SATURDAY, 11am to 6pm!!!
So you couldn’t make it to Oktoberfest because you had to work, and you couldn’t make the Show and Shine because you were at NHMS tearing it up. Or even if you did go to Oktoberfest, you should come over to HMS! Please join us for our first annual Oktoberfeast Car Show!! Saturday, October 11, 2008 at our new location in Danvers. You will have the chance to tour our new facilities, a look behind the scenes on how Schroth Harness Belts are made and more!
Enjoy discounts for the day, great food and drinks, music and lots more. Bring the family, your dog, your donkey, and of course, your great looking car. Ugly ones welcome too. (No Yugo’s PLEASE unless they are MINT or caged).
The Car Show will consist of BMW Race and Street tuned cars, Porsche Race and Street, VW’s, Audi’s (Including the awesome new R8 on display) and many more! We are expecting a great turnout for awesome cars! Last and least (by volume anyway), the SMART Car will be zipping around the lot. We now have numerous parking areas. If you want to “show” your car, let us know!
Finally, we will compliment the day with a series of seminars. These will include; Safety Seminar by Joe Marko, Autocross Seminar by Steve Hazard and Larry Nicklas and a Brake Tech Session by “Tales from the Creeper” Columnist Colin Whelan, and a Track Driving seminar.
When entering the premises, let one of our volunteers know if you would like to “show” your car or park at the designated public parking lot. The event is held from 11 – 6.
For Directions to our facility,
Please print the flier and bring it with you for a 10% off . Also send an e-mail to Oktoberfeast@hmsmotorsport.com to let us know your coming! Valid only that day
New Blog!
Yay for Jay! Jay’s our web master who set this up for us. I’ll kick things off by saying last night I continued working on my race car by removing all the rubber bushings from the rear end of my E36. A few nights ago i pulled everything out of the car, so removing the bushings was fairly simple. Heating the metal surrounding most of the bushings was all that was needed, once nice and hot, the bushings came out with a light tap from a hammer. Next step is the clean up all the components! Thanks for reading.
