Happy Birthday Kyle!
Call him the, “Intimidator”, “Dominator”, “Terminator”, “Rowdy” – or if you must “Shrub” – but the best name is simply “Winner” and probably, not before too long, “Champion”. Love him or hate him, it is hard to find anyone who won’t admit he is an incredibly talented driver. Winning is what Kyle lives for – his goal is always to win, second place or later is not winning in his book, so it’s probably not best to talk to him if he is not up front. He probably races more races, in different cars in a year, than any other Cup driver, and ends up in the winner’s circle in many of them.
Saturday was his 24th birthday and he capped it off with a three win sweep of the weekend starting with a Thursday night Late Model race at Southside Speedway, the Nationwide race on Friday night, and of course the Sprint Cup race on Saturday night at Richmond. For the record books, this was Kyle’s 50th NASCAR primary series win. He is only the second Cup driver to win a Cup race on his birthday! A few weeks ago, he became the first NASCAR driver ever to win two of the top series races on the same day winning both the Camping World Truck Race and the Nationwide Race later in the day in Atlanta.
We wish Kyle and his team the best of luck in his quest for the Sprint Cup Championship!
(Kyle runs SCHROTH SFI 16.5 belts in all of his race cars from his Late Models to his Cup, Nationwide, and Truck series cars.)
SCHROTH is the Belt of Choice for the top Sprint Cup Chase Contenders
With the advancement of Ryan Newman into the Chase, ten of the Chase drivers use SCHROTH SFI 16.5 belts to keep them safe and secure in their seat during the races.
We wish to congratulate Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman for the tremendous success so far this season. It is impressive to see both cars from a totally new team in the Chase.
