Kasey Kahne shows that he can turn both left and right by taking the checker at the Sonoma NASCAR Sprint Cup race. This is Kasey’s first ever road course win. The win advanced Kasey two positions in the Chase with just three points keeping him outside the top 12. It was a good day overall for RPM with Allmendinger and Sadler also finishing in the top ten.  SCHROTH has worked with Kasey in Sprint Cup for the last four years and exclusively with Kasey Kahne Racing (www.kaseykahneracing.com) on all of his USAC Sprints and Midgets and World of Outlaws Sprint Cars.

Dario Franchitti took the checker at the Iowa Corn Indy 250 IRL race. This was his 2^nd win and 5^th top five finish for the year moving him up to second in points for the season, just three points behind leader Ryan Briscoe. Taking a year off from IRL certainly has not crimped Dario’s open wheel performance.

It came down to the last pit stop where some small changes worked perfectly and allowed him to pass race leader Ryan Briscoe in just three laps. It was clear sailing from then on.

Dario has been using SCHROTH belts in most of his race cars over the last several years.

Mark Martin picked up his 3^rd win of the season in the #5 Hendrick Chevy at Michigan International Speedway. The win moved him into Chase contention and keeps alive the chance for that ever elusive Sprint Cup Championship. The team is having a strong year with 8 top 10 finishes in 16 races.

Mark is one of the most respected drivers in NASCAR and we are rooting for him to finally cap off a season with a Championship – one that is long overdue and much deserved!
