It was another weekend for the record books at Indy. The GRAND-AM and NASCAR Nationwide teams got to roll through the hallowed gates for the first time. On Saturday Brad Keselowski cruised to victory with Penske teammate Sam Hornish Jr finishing second giving Roger Penske his 100th NASCAR win.

In the Nationwide race the top five finishers all had Schroth Racing belts. On Sunday it was Jimmie Johnson who got to kiss the bricks for the fourth time. Jimmie dominated the race and finished 4.758 second ahead of runner-up Kyle Busch scoring his 58th career win. Jimmie Johnson winning the race was a big story but so was the 4th place finish by his teammate Dale Earnhardt Jr. who took over the Points lead for the first time since 2004.

The Top 7 finishers of Sundays Cup race were all using Schroth Racing Belts.

It’s been a long wait for us on these, but the seat backs have passed their strength tests with flying colors, and now we’re ready to start shipping these QuickFit and QuickFit Pro harnesses.

They work the same way the other QuickFit Harnesses work, which is to say they are extremely easy to install and use. They attach to factory mounting locations and require only a couple tabs be installed on outboard locations. Once the initial installation is completed, you’re free to put them in and take them out as simply as you would buckle and unbuckle any normal seatbelt buckle.

Remember, the difference between QuickFit and QuickFit Pro is that the QuickFit Pro is designed to be used with a HANS device and has a central Cam Lock instead of a more conventional buckle. Read more below about each option:

Last weekend of racing resulted in big wins for NASCAR’s Joey Logano at Pocono and IndyCar’s Justin Wilson at Texas!

Joey, in his #20 Home Depot Toyota, battled with his mentor Mark Martin for the last few laps and at the end nudged Mark out of the way for the pass that led him to victory. It was a well earned win and his second in the Cup series. His first win was back in 2009 at a rain shortened event at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Joey has been doing much better this year with a few wins in Nationwide and good finishes in Cup. This win will get him closer to a shot to make the Chase for the first time in his career. We wish you luck Joey!

Justin Wilson took the checkered flag after starting only 17th in the field. With two laps leader Graham Rahal slide wide on turn 4 and contacted the wall – it was just enough for Justin to pull past him on the back straight. Justin held the lead for the last 1.5 laps and Graham managed to hold on to his cobbled car to finish a frustrating second. This was justins as he went a bit too wide and contacted the wall in turn 4but in the end a error causing a crash by Graham Rahal in the 4th turn with two laps left opened the door to Justin. This was his first win on an oval and his first win since Watkins Glen in 2009. Justin uses a SCHROTH Formula belt with 2″ laps and double shoulder belts.

Kyle Busch has been busy the last two weeks winning races and leaving his mark on the NASCAR record books – and he’s been doing it wearing a Stilo ST4W Carbon helmet!

On July 9th, Kyle registered his 99th win in NASCAR’s top three series dominating the inaugural NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Kentucky Speedway. After the race we caught up with Kyle who said, “This is cool man. This is right up there with the best of them. I haven’t won the big ones, so this is as good as it gets right now. I can’t put it into words.”

The win capped off an impressive weekend in which saw Kyle win the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Thursday and finish third in the NASCAR Nationwide Series race on Friday.

What did he do for an encore? The following weekend, Kyle won the NASCAR Nationwide Series New England 200 at New Hampshire Speedway. With the win, Kyle became the third driver in the history of NASCAR to collect 100 national series victories and tied Mark Martin atop the all-time NASCAR Nationwide Series wins list, at 49.

“It’s fun to look back and see that my name is atop the list of names that have made the Nationwide Series what it is today — Mark Martin, Sam Ard and Tommy Houston to name a few,” said Busch. “There’s many more wins to go, hopefully. We can certainly make it a large number one day and we’ll see how that all tallies up in the end.”

Stilo is proud to be a part of keeping Kyle safe while he races hard. This year, while Kyle has been using the Stilo ST4W Carbon helmet in all of his races, he told us “The integrated ear muffs cut the overall noise by about 30% compared to my old helmet. I can hear more of what’s going on with my race vehicle which allows me to focus on racing with less distraction.”

Kyle also uses SCHROTH belts in all his race cars.

For the second week in a row the #29 Budweiser Chevrolet of Kevin Harvick has snuck its way to the checked flag in the final laps of the race. At the start of the race things were not going all that well, then he crashed and everything got much better!

His win at Martinsville on Sunday was probably not popular with many fans because the man he beat was Dale Earnhardt Jr. – who looked like he was finally going to end his long winless streak to the wild cheers of the fans.

Kyle Busch, who was strong throughout the race, came in 3rd which moved him up three positions to the top spot in the points standings.

Great driving by all of these drivers … all wearing SCHROTH harnessbelts of course!
