2012 Sprint Cup Champion Penske Racing Brad Keselowski

Schroth Racing would like to say Congratulations to Roger Penske and Brad Keselowski on winning the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship. Roger Penske is has endless amounts of trophies and titles but the Sprint Cup Championship was the big one missing from his impressive list of accomplishments. Penske Racing was the first team in NASCAR to use Schroth Racing belts now almost every team is in a Schroth belt. We could not be happier to see Brad and Roger lift that trophy last night and enjoy a Miller Lite or two.
Regan Smith won the Saturday Ford EcoBoost 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway beating Kyle Busch to the finish line by 1.375 seconds. It was Regan Smith’s first win in Nationwide driving for JR Motorsports who he will be driving for full time next season. The top five finishers in the Saturday night race all were Schroth Racing drivers. Being the final race of the season of means Championships were on the line and it was the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing team winning the Nationwide Series Owner’s Championship. Schroth would like to say Congratulations to the entire Joe Gibbs Racing No. 18 team for a great season scoring seven victories in 2012.

It was a great end to the season Sparks were flying in Friday nights final NASCAR Camping World Truck series race coming to the checkered flag. Cale Gale was able to beat Kyle Busch by .014 seconds in the Friday night Ford EcoBoost 200 truck race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

It was Cale Gales first win in NASCAR but it was James Buescher who rolled to his first series championship. It was a close battle coming down to the final laps when Ty Dillion closed the gap to 1 point but got into a crash with 2 laps remaining. Schroth Racing is proud to be on board both the race winner and 2012 Truck Series Champion James Buescher!

We’re looking to expand our dealer network, so if you are interested in selling Cobra seats, please do not hesitate to be in touch.

We have a lot of news for 2013, including the introduction of Pro-Fit system, which allows you to swap out different sized back, bottom, and thigh cushions yielding a seat that fits your body much more comfortably. This sytem allows you to get the harness pass-through to match your shoulder height, as well as give support to your thighs if you’re a taller driver. And for those of you running multiple drivers in one car, this system is perfect for you. Use different pads to allow drivers of different shapes and sizes to use the same seat.

Also new this year, our reclining street seats feature an anti-sub strap pass-through in addition to mounting locations built right into the seat frame. This is truly the best scenario for belt geometry, since the mounting location for the anti-sub strap will remain consistent no matter where in the travel of the seat adjusters you are. Triangulated steel structure ensures structural integrity.

Stilo Helmets in NASCAR

Stilo Helmets has had a great year with many of the top NASCAR drivers making switch to Stilo this season. Drivers in the Sprint Cup Series have gone to victory lane 10 times this season. The lightweight, noise reducing earmuff and superior quality are just some of the reasons you are seeing more and more Stilo helmets at the track. Kyle Busch, Joey Logano, Mark Martin and Carl Edwards are all running the ST4W GT Carbon. Matt Kenseth and Dale Earnhardt Jr. have made the St4F Naked Carbon helmet their top choice. Denny Hamlin has made the move to the Stilo St4W Zero the lightest weight helmet currently offered meeting the FIA 8860-2010 standard. Denny made the switch to the Zero helmet at the start of the NASCAR Chase and in his first race with it went to victory lane at New Hampshire.

Well we did it, we built our first SEMA car. The TAKATA racing Scion FR-S was at the Toyo Tire display in Las Vegas. Thank you to all that have helped us out with with the build of our car. The main focus of this build is, to provide the track day enthusiast, with car that can be both a daily driver and an effective road course, drift, or drag car. Our selection of performance and safety equipment ensures that the driver is planted in the seat and on the track. Every part was carefully selected to keep the car functional, but aggressive in styling, performance, and safety. TAKATA is safety – Safety First.
