Items that come with a warranty (Bilstein Shocks/Some Hella bulbs/etc) are supplied with manufacturer warranty. This means that if you need to make good on a warranty, your best bet is to go directly to the manufacturer. If you come to us it just adds one more person between you and your product. We will do our best to help you, but chances are good you should contact the manufacturer first. Exceptions to this include products manufactured by HMS and Schroth Harnesses.
We will not accept returns unless you obtain a Return Authorization number from a sales represntative. Call us at 1.888.467.3269 and we will help you. We will give out RA numbers for products purchased within the past 30 days that are in saleable condition. The product must in 'Brand-new' condition. Any product that has been installed can not be returned. Shipping charges (both ways) will not be refunded unless there was a mistake on our part.
The Fine Print:
Return Policy: Return requests for full refund (excluding shipping) will be honored for 30 days from the date of the HMS Invoice. Returns requests after 30 days are at the option of HMS, subject to a 15% restocking fee, and will be issued only for store credit. HMS will only accept return packages with an HMS Return Authorization No. (RA#) written clearly on the outside of the return box. Call HMS Customer Service to receive your RA#. All aerodynamic body parts are subject to a 15% restocking fee regardless of date of purchase. Rollbars and other special order items MAY NOT BE RETURNED UNLESS an error has been made on the part of HMS or our suppliers in delivering the exact items specified on the Customer Sales Invoice. To receive full credit, HMS must receive the item in the original packaging, in as new, resalable condition. Shipping charges in either direction will not be credited. Refunds within the 30 return period will be issued in the same method as the original payment within five days of receipt of your return.
AVS Checks and Shipping Addresses
Credit Card fraud is not only a felony, it's also running rampant among internet based companies. The only way we can combat fraud is by validating each order using an Address Verification Service. This service will run your credit card with the credit card processor and check to make sure that the address you've asked us to ship to is on file with the credit card company. Previously we would process the billing address only, however we have been caught too many times by fraudulent customers.
WE WILL ONLY SHIP TO AN ADDRESS THAT PASSES AN AVS CHECK
You as a cardholder can add your office address to your account by calling your credit card company and asking to have your office address on file as well as your home address (or wherever your bills go). Anyone can get there hands on your account information, but only you can add this information. This is why we require the AVS. If you have done business with us before, we will use our discretion to ship product to addresses that do not pass the AVS check.
When you place an order with us via this website, we will ask you whether you'd like us to partial ship the order if any products are out of stock. If we are out of stock on a particular item, we will call you just to let you know regardless of your answer to the partial ship question. If we partial ship your order, we will pick up the freight charge on the back ordered items when they do ship.
