The Cool Shirt system is a very unique idea, and offers relief from one of the oldest problems in motorsports - heat.

We've all been there, a sweltering August afternoon with pending thunderstorms and you're out on track clicking off hotlaps. Before you know it, in car temperatures start to climb up to dangerous levels - we're talking beyond a little sweat - into heat exhaustion.

This system feeds cold water through tubes sewn onto a shirt worn underneath your race suit. The heat from your body is dissipated to the water and drawn away from your body - and you don't have to do a thing. Being cooler helps you make better decisions and think faster. Being comfortable really does make you faster.

This kit comes with a leak proof cooler, 8' water hose with quick disconnect fittings. Shirts are sold separately. The cooler is 12 quarts which should last you for around 3 hours of track time. We recommend the temperature control switch which allows you to increase the water flow from a dash-mounted control plate. Also the mounting plate gives you a great place to securely strap down the cooler after you've refilled it.

It is a necessity that you choose a fireproof option if you are competing in real racing. These options include the firewear, nomex or Carbon-X options listed below. Otherwise you will not meet fire regulations at your scrutineering stop.

The Cool Shirt (Cool Suit) Pro Air & Water System delivers temperature-controlled cooled water to the driver's Cool Shirt and cooled blower-enhanced HEPA-4 filtered air to their helmet. Also available with the SFI-Approved FireWear fire-retardant Cool Shirt.

The Cool Shirt (Cool Suit) Pro Air & Water System comes with a 12 or 24 quart cooling unit with an internal pump that supplies temperature-controlled cool water to the shirt and HEPA-4 filtered, chilled air to your helmet via a 235 CFM blower. Eight feet of double insulated water hose with automatic shutoff/quick disconnects attach the shirt to the unit, and the Dual Temperature Control Switch allows the user to regulate the flow and the temperature of water for personal comfort based on external temperature variation. Total weight on this system is only 9lbs.
