Recaro Pole Position

The Pole Position is one of Recaro's entry level seats. Features a Fiberglass shell, well defined lateral shoulder support and harness guides for 4, 5 or 6 point harnesses. These seats work perfectly with all Schroth Harnesses.

A great seat for many drivers. If you are on the taller side, the harness pass-through for the shoulder belts may not be located where you need them to be. If you're looking to purchase this seat, your best bet is to measure a seat that does fit you to see if this one is within a spec that will work. Recaro Profi SPG

The Profi SPG XL is 35mm Wider than the normal Profi SPG. The sides are very supportive. The bulk of the seat is covered in a durable velour, while the shoulder supports are covered in a high-friction lining.

The Profi SPG shares a shell shape with the Profi SPG XL, but is 35 mm narrower than it's larger counterpart. The Shoulderbelt passthroughs are not as tall as those in the Profi SPG XL.

This seat is made of Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic. Finished to the highest level of detail. It comes with harness guides for 4,5 or 6 point harnesses and features large shoulder belt openings to accomodate occupants of varying torso heights.

Covered in Velour and available in Black or Red. Weighs 9.0kg.

Recaro SPG Pro Racer - HANS

Now Available in XL Width!

This seat is specifically designed for use with the HANS device. Anyone regularly spending time under the conditions of a green flag owe it to their loved ones to seriously consider using a HANS device. This seat makes it more comfortable and adds a little bit of safety on top of it.

One of the most common complaints of using a HANS device is that the driver's seat pushes the HANS device forward, making it dig into the chest, and push your head forward. This problem seems to be limited to a few shell shapes, but is completely eliminated with this seat. Recaro has reshaped the area around the shoulders to allow room for the HANS device. It also provides Shoulder Belt Pass-thrus that are adequately sized for many different sized torsos and different installations. When using a HANS, you really want the shoulder belts to pass through the seat unimpeded by anything. This seat helps with that. It also provides Head support for extreme hairpin turns or in the event of side impact.

On top of the HANS compatibility and extra side impact safety, the Pro Racer is one of the most comfortable seats we've ever sat in. It literally sucks you in and supports every part of your body. The side bolsters are larger than on any other seat, and offer unmatched support at speed. Please note that if you are much larger than a 34 waist, you probably won't be able to fit in this seat. Please sit in it first if you are doubtful.

The XL Width which accommodates larger fellas combined with the slightly scalloped upper torso optimizing the seating position for use with the HANS device.
