APEX is an artificial intelligence system used for vehicle performance simulation. APEX learns the performance limits of your vehicle and gives you real-time feedback on how to optimize your decisions at every point on the track.
Current in-car, real-time performance references show you how you are doing in reference to a previous fast lap or predictive lap. That gives you no indication as to how you can achieve that predictive time! APEX helps you learn how.
Using a 9 Axis Inertial Measurement Unit and a GPS, APEX can take 12,000 data samples/second, and combine and filter data in a way that provides a useful performance reference for the driver. Think of it as a simplified data system output:instead of squiggly lines, you get an intuitive, simple, LED light display.
Red LED's indicate current POTENTIAL Performance
Green LED's indicate current ACTUAL Performance
APEX is a stand-alone device that is mounted in the driver’s direct line of sight. The device utilizes a Bluetooth connection to your iOS 10+ device to control the settings on the unit. APEX is a peripheral performance reference, showing you how changes to your driving affect your performance.
APEX helps you learn how to improve!

Solo 2: The most precise and easy way to get lap times
The new Solo 2 receives the data from two satellites constellations, GPS and Glonass: this is a huge step forward since it is unbelievably faster and more precise than the previous version and the lap times are calculated within a maximum gap not higher than 2/100 sec.
Find your track easily and quickly
Solo 2 can rely on a database of more than 2,000 tracks all over the world: as soon as it switches on, Solo 2 identifies its position, recognizes the starting line coordinates of the track and starts sampling lap times.
In case the track is not in the database, no problem: Solo 2 realizes it and switches to learning mode, automatically understands the characteristics of the track and gives the lap time anyway.
It's a Data Logger
The Solo 2 records your lap times along with speed, track position, lateral g-forces, linear g-forces, yaw rate, heading, slope, satellite reception, and vehicle data if the DL version is being used.
Data recall on screen
At the end of your test, you can quickly review all the key information on your display.
Predictive Lap Times
Arguably the best tool a driver can have for getting faster is predictive lap times. Chisel down those lap times and qualify better than you ever have before with the Solo's 2 predictive lap timing. This model brings even more reliability, along with the ability to configure RGB LEDs to give you the time gap compared to the best lap you set as reference.
Configurable RGB LEDs
Even the predictive lap time is much more reliable, and the configurable RGB LEDs will give you the time gap compared to the best lap you set as reference.
Race mode selection
Solo 2 can manage two types of races: speed races in a closed circuit or performance tests (0-60 mph etc.)
In each of these configurations, Solo 2 gives the proper information during the test and powerful data review immediately after each session.
Wi-Fi communication with the PC
Wi-Fi connection: easy, fast, without connectors nor cables: the best way to configure your Solo 2, to manage the track database, and to download the data to your PC.
The BIG easy to read display can be backlighted in one of seven available colors.
Your Power or Mine
The Solo's internal lithium-ion battery will keep the Solo 2 running for about 4 hours with the backlight on. Otherwise, a 12V connection to vehicle power keeps it charged and running off the vehicles battery.
SmartyCam HD Connection
The perfect connection: get all the data from your ECU (if using the DL model), merge them with the GPS information and transmit everything to the SmartyCam HD, that will show them in graphical overlay in the video.
Solo 2 DL
The Solo with ECU connection
More than 1,000 protocols for 1,000+ ECU in the database, for easily connect your Solo 2 DL to your Engine Control Unit and get a lot of information with just one cable. In case your ECU protocol is not in the database, no problem: an ECU Driver Builder is always available in the Race Studio 3 configuration software, and you will be able to create your protocol by yourself.
SmartyCam HD Rev.2.1: The camera designed for motorsports
SmartyCam HD has been designed for motorsports with a single purpose: providing great videos that include all the technical information that will help you improve your performance.
All this in the most robust and reliable system ever. In its new version, the electronics/mechanics have been further improved, and SmartyCam HD is now even easier to manage.
You are on the starting grid, ready to sprint: the last thing you can worry about is switching on the camera. SmartCam HD is aware, and automatically start/stops recording. Recording can also be set to start automatically when speed or PRM is detected
Real time data overplayed on videos
SmartyCam HD overlays all the data you need from different sources. From GPS: track map and vehicle position, as well as speed, lap and split times. From AiM loggers connected to your ECU: RPM, throttle, engaged gear, acceleration, temperatures, pressures and - in presence of additional sensors - their values. All these info will be overlayed on videos in each single point of the track.
Proprietary lenses Global Shutter SMOS sensor remove image distortion
SmartyCam HD telecentric lens with six elements reduces distortion to the minimum and will withstand track vibrations for years. Moreover the lenses with different HFOV's allow a tailor-made framing in all kind of vehicles.
The camera shutter captures the entire image at the same time, not "pixel by pixel" like traditional sensors. The result is that images are captured at once and are not affected by the vibrations that happen on a racing vehicle, which create the so-called "wave effect”.
Race Studio 3: Your software for video configuration and analysis
SmartyCam HD uses Race Studio 3, the powerful software which allows to configure all details of your videos and to get plenty of fun and information out of them.
You can configure your overlays in a virtually infinite variety of modes: add your logo and the track map, and choose your graphic objects from a list of pre-determined sets with same layout or even single objects from different sets. Your videos will be truly "yours" in all details, from the data to their graphic layouts.
The video of a whole session, once downloaded on your PC, can now be split - with a simple click - in individual videos of each lap: so that you can simultaneously watch two of them and check where you were faster or slower. The same operation can be performed with any SmartyCam HD video recorded on the same track: you will be able to compare your best lap with your friends personal best!
We created this log book to help you track the important details for each on track driving session. The more you track these details, the more prepared you will be for future sessions.
This booklet consists of a comprehensive pre-event checklist, a data log for up to 12 three day events and a general notes section. The data log is the focus of the book and is designed around tracking tire pressures and notes about your specific setup. Made with high quality, easy to write on paper, this log book is the perfect addition for any track driver.
